中國科學家研發全球首款全頻段通信芯片,指甲蓋大小助力6G突破

我國科研團隊在無線通信領域取得了重大突破,成功研發出一款基于光電融合集成技術的自適應全頻段高速無線通信芯片。這一創新成果于近日在國際頂級學術期刊《自然》上發表。

北京大學電子學院教授王興軍與香港城市大學教授王騁攜手,通過引入創新的光電融合架構,實現了芯片從頻段受限到全頻兼容的歷史性跨越。該芯片在所有頻段均能達到50至100Gbps的無線傳輸速率,這一速度遠超當前5G技術的水平,快了2至3個數量級。這意味著,無論是在偏遠的鄉村還是繁華的城市中心,用戶都能享受到高速且穩定的通信連接。

研究團隊基于先進的薄膜鈮酸鋰光子材料平臺,提出了“通用型光電融合無線收發引擎”的概念,并成功研制出超寬帶光電融合集成芯片。這款芯片在僅指甲蓋大小的區域內,集成了寬帶無線-光信號轉換、可調諧低噪聲載波或本振源產生以及數字基帶調制等完整無線信號處理功能,實現了系統級的高度集成。其覆蓋范圍超過110GHz,具有自適應可重構的能力。

實驗驗證顯示,基于這款芯片的創新系統能夠實現超過120Gbps的超高速無線傳輸速率,完全滿足6G通信的峰值速率要求。更重要的是,該系統的端到端無線通信鏈路在全頻段內性能一致,高頻段性能并未出現劣化。這一突破為6G通信在太赫茲乃至更高頻段頻譜資源的高效開發奠定了堅實基礎。

這款超寬帶光電融合集成技術的芯片,不僅提升了無線通信的速度和穩定性,還為未來6G通信的發展掃清了技術障礙,預示著無線通信領域將迎來更加廣闊的發展前景。
