車內藏激光雷達,問界M7新方案引熱議:是創新還是妥協?

在智能汽車設計領域,車頂激光雷達一直是個讓人又愛又恨的存在。它那突兀的外形,就像手機上的劉海屏一樣,對車輛的整體美感構成了不小的挑戰。無論車身線條多么流暢,一旦頭頂裝上這個“大家伙”,美感瞬間大打折扣,甚至有的車型還一口氣裝了三個,讓不少車主直呼“辣眼”。

然而,近期華為在新款問界M7上推出的艙內激光雷達方案Limera,似乎為這一難題提供了全新的解決方案。華為將激光雷達巧妙地安置在前擋風玻璃內側,也就是內后視鏡的背面位置,與攝像頭完美融合,這一設計不僅消除了車頂上的“大包”,也讓車輛外觀更加簡潔和諧。

這一創新設計不僅提升了美觀度,還帶來了不少實用優勢。傳統車頂激光雷達易受風沙雨雪等惡劣天氣影響,可能導致智能駕駛輔助系統(智駕)和自動緊急制動系統(AEB)性能下降。而艙內激光雷達則避免了這些問題,實現了“終生0清洗”的便捷體驗。不過,也有消費者提出疑問,這樣的設計是否真的只是“花瓶”,除了好看還有別的用處嗎?

據華為車BU介紹,艙內激光雷達Limera的主要優勢在于其獨特的位置帶來的低風阻設計,以及減少了外部環境干擾的清潔度保證。然而,仔細觀察后不難發現,這個看似小巧的圓形激光雷達窗口,實際上可能意味著技術上的“減配”。傳統車頂激光雷達多為半固態設計,窗口形狀方正,以適應其內部轉鏡結構。而艙內激光雷達Limera則采用了圓形窗口,更可能是固態激光雷達,這種雷達沒有轉鏡結構,因此在設計上更加靈活。

固態激光雷達被視為未來發展方向,但目前在探測距離、視場角(FOV)、分辨率等關鍵性能上仍不及半固態雷達,通常僅用于側向和后向補盲。因此,有評論認為,將固態激光雷達作為車頭主雷達,可能是對其性能的一種妥協。不過,也有觀點認為,固態雷達在艙內應用中具有獨特優勢,如更安靜、更易與攝像頭集成等,這些特點使得它在艙內環境中更為適用。

值得注意的是,華為此次推出的艙內激光雷達Limera僅搭載在問界M7的低配車型上,作為對之前無激光雷達版本的升級。而高配車型依然保留了性能更強的192線半固態激光雷達,作為智駕系統的核心裝備。這意味著,艙內激光雷達并沒有取代艙外雷達的地位,而是填補了低端市場的空白,為消費者提供了更多選擇。

對于消費者而言,這一變化無疑是個好消息。雖然固態激光雷達在性能上可能有所妥協,但在艙內環境中卻帶來了更好的舒適性和集成度。只要價格合理,對于原本只配備純視覺系統的車型來說,這無疑是一次實打實的加強。然而,對于追求極致智駕體驗的消費者來說,高配車型的艙外激光雷達依然是不二之選。

艙內激光雷達的普及還面臨不少技術挑戰。如激光需要穿透車窗玻璃才能探測外部環境,而普通車窗對激光的衰減率較高,可能影響探測距離。因此,搭載艙內激光雷達的車型可能需要定制車窗玻璃,以提高透光率和降低反射率。同時,艙內環境中的5G信號、毫米波雷達輻射等也可能對激光雷達產生電磁干擾,需要特殊處理才能確保點云圖的清晰度。
